Today, I would like to introduce you a few tips to turn your plain-white sheet journal to something cool - and fits your style. There is no fixed figures, fixed forms, only you let your mind free and express yourself through color pencils and ink on the paper.
I like making my own calendar tables - each moth, each year: for taking note about my work deadlines, appointment 'date and time', and any remarks to remind myself.
For over six years, I never get tired of it - because every month and year I create an unique pattern for them. It is fun and you can no longer have to buy an organizer journal - which is full of lines and words you feel disconnected with them.
Create your own, put pictures and quotes you like, a few lines of lyric you love. Anything, anything you feel like sketching down on the paper! :o)
Tip #1. Making a calendar - Writing and painting anything you like...
Tip #2. Use a stamp or ink pen to express your feeling of the Day and Month!
(The stamp that you can make it by yourself, find a story I posted here 'Beauty in a small thing' http://travelingtravailler.blogspot.com/2010/07/beauty-in-small-thing.html)
Tip #3. Not only making the calendar tables, you can also decorate your plain sheet to a beautiful page for writing your daily memo.
(This is also using the eraser-stamp that I made myself.)
Tip #4. You can dye your paper with dissolved tea or coffee - so the paper turns to another color. It looks nice, and becomes a friendly reading-paper for your eyes.
never losing that sense of creativity!! I like it though I know I will never make it my own. Hahaha..
