A Simple But Powerful Story About 'Grass': A Smell of Happiness

First of all, I want to thank June, my best friend who gave me a magazine 'Think - Creative Thailand' to me to read. Also, thanks to Pi Ting who sparks and shares ideas and knowledge, which are simple but so powerful.

Many of you might have read and known about this story already, but you forgot it. Thus, I would love to tell this again about a simple but wonderful little thing about 'grass.'

Scientists claim the smell of freshly cut grass can relive stress, make you fell happy, and could prevent mental decline in old age. They claim the lawn's smell works directly on the brain, in particular the emotional and memory parts. Now, some people have developed a perfume, which 'smells like a freshy-cut lawn.'

Have Fun with Bunnies!

This weekend may be a good time to make a thing you want to have - but you don't want to buy! For anyone who spends many hours a day googling, blogging, designing, reading, staying on computer screen - a WRIST PAD/PILLOW will help taking care of your tired wrist. :o)

Sewing a Bunny for using as a wrist pad/pillow, and it can also be used as paper weight which is will take care of your book or paper nicely with its soft skin (cloth+sand). Moreover, the bunny can be used as a pin cushion, too. Wow, it's very useful and very cute!

Create Yourself An Unique Journal

Today, I would like to introduce you a few tips to turn your plain-white sheet journal to something cool - and fits your style. There is no fixed figures, fixed forms, only you let your mind free and express yourself through color pencils and ink on the paper.

I like making my own calendar tables - each moth, each year: for taking note about my work deadlines, appointment 'date and time', and any remarks to remind myself.

Just for you!

After doing a small study and discussing with some friends - the headphone keeper turns out better. This one is for Mr. E.M. I hope you will like it, though it will be for a couple of months when you can actually have it. :o)

Headphone Keeper

A couple of hours was spent to sketch and design which pattern to go for a headphone keeper. Finally, I came up with the most potential one for a good look, and seemingly - a practical use. I can't promise this one will work out 'very well' for now... I'm going to use it to see if it really works for this purpose then I will make another one for you, E.M. :o)

To make one, it takes you to sew for about half an hour. Then filling up this little donut with polyester fabric (which you make it into small puffy pieces). Pick the fabric and color you like and make one for your headphone. Keep it nice, keep it thick, keep it yours - you'll proud of this little soft and stylish device.

It's not just a bag

It's not just a bag. Well, it technically is a bag, but I call it that way because it's not just a bag. I started made this back when I got to write my thesis which caused me a lot of stress and tiredness to my brain. I took a break every a few hours to sew this bag and it had been a month to finish it. For any friends who might be worrying about my work, well I first finished my thesis and later on --the bag. :o)
